Meet the Staff

Meet our staff of Course Directors, they will take care of your IDC and train you to become a dive instructor using the PADI system.

Richard Hopkins is a PADI Course Director who hails from Oregon, USA. There he gained extensive cold water diving experience before extensively travelling the world; ending up in Grand Cayman. Rich has a background in Public Safety and is a Public Safety Dive Instructor. He also knows American Sign Language and (American) English.

Charles is a PADI Course Director from Aruba, living in The Netherlands. He teaches in both cold water and tropical waters. He is an allround instructor who loves to dive sidemount. Charles is a 100% Aware instructor support the Project Aware movement. He speaks Dutch, English, Papiamento, French, German and Spanish.

Kenneth Strömberg is a PADI Course Director who grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. For over 10 years been training divers in Thailand and in Mexico. But now calls Grand Cayman his home. Ken used to be a Construction Engineer, he likes planning and the complexity of Tec Diving. He will teach you what is below 40m in either backmount or in Sidemount. Ken is fluent in English, Swedish and gets by in Spanish.

Course Director Rob Pittman is from Texas and has been teaching divers for over 20 years. A refugee from corporate life, Rob is now living his dream. Rob’s passion is photography and recording memories of the beauty of the underwater world.

PADI Course Director Ivana Stampeggi is experienced, passionate and fun. She enjoyed travelling and working with so many different cultures in Asia and the Caribbean.
Her main interests are marine life and conservation of the marine life. She is an advocate for the protection of our reefs.
She loves teaching the rescue course with all of the unique roleplaying, teaching in English, French, Spanish and Italian with a smile. “Living the dream every day of my life”.

Jens is a PADI Course Director born in Germany. He has been training divers ice diving in cold mountain lakes and self reliant diving in the Mediterranean Sea. His university time in Chemistry and Pharmacology makes him an excellent teacher for your dive theory. He is fluent in German and English and can chit chat with you in French and Mandarin.
